Case 17
Individual results may vary.
Case ID: 3979Six implants in the upper jaw. The bone in the upper jaw is much softer compared to the bone in the lower jaw. To compensate for that we typically place a greater number of implants to have them share the total force while chewing. By placing dental implants on the upper arch we will achieve the same results with the added benefit that the denture will no longer need to cover the total roof of the mouth. Both upper and lower arches were treated with dental implants connected with titanium bars to improve level of comfort and function.
